What courses do you run?

The Sports Development Unit organises a number of Sportscoach UK and Runningsports Workshops throughout the year. These are designed to provide clubs, schools and voluntary organisations with the know how to deliver effective coaching sessions and recruit, retain and develop volunteers.

Are they nationally recognised?

Yes, all the courses are nationally recognised and participants will receive a useful resource booklet and a certificate of attendance to record and acknowledge the time and effort they have put in.

How much do they cost?

Each workshop or course varies in cost. Please visit the sports development workshop and courses page for individual costs.

There is a £5 discount on all our workshop and courses for any club with Plymouth City Council’s Club Accreditation for Good Practice.

You could receive a sport and recreational grant to help contribute towards the cost of attending a workshop or course, please view our sport and recreational grant aid page.

How can I book a place?

Places are limited, so bookings will be taken on a first come first served basis.
