Quest
What is Quest?
Quest is a UK quality scheme for sport and leisure (including sports development) that defines industry standards, good practice and the development of a customer-focused service within a continuous improvement framework.
How is the scheme assessed?
This accreditation scheme is assessed every two years against a range of best practice principles including:
- strategy and planning
- operations and delivery
- customer relations
- staff management
How have we done?
April 2005 - first cycle - version 2
We achieved Quest registration with a commendable first assessment score of 71 per cent, the highest score obtained by any local authority in the South West region at the time.
2005 assessment improvement report [141.1KB]September 2007 - second cycle - version 2
We increased our score to 77 per cent which has promoted us to the high commended category.
October 2009 - third cycle - version 3
We maintained our highly commended status by achieving a score of 76 per cent.
November 2011 - fourth cycle - version 3
We increased our score to 91 per cent, giving us an excellent rating
