This page is part of the sports development archive section. Sports Bug has adapted over the years, changes will be made this year to reflect the needs of the sporting community in Plymouth.

Following the success of the week long format last year, this years Sports Bug will again be a free, family focussed event with the emphasis well and truly on encouraging people to get active and promoting healthy lifestyles.

An added highlight is that we have linked up with the Lord Mayors Day celebrations, which this year has a sport and physical activity theme and there will be some great activities to get involved with on Plymouth Hoe from 10am on 20 May 2006.

There is something for everyone during the week, no matter how active you are at the moment and all the information is contained in this booklet.

I hope you can take part in as many activities as possible and find something that will motivate you to get active and stay active!
