The Imaginators

Run by the Museum, these fun, free sessions are aimed specifically at the under fives and their carers and include creative activities, games, songs and stories based on our collections and exhibitions.

Museum Fifteenth International Concert Series

Between these two splendid artists, there is a natural affinity which makes their performances together quite extraordinary. They have performed as a duo throughout the UK and as far as the Bahamas. Composers will include Rodrigo, Poulenc, Villa-Lobos and Guilani.

Tickets are £6 each (no concessions) which includes a programme and can be purchased from Vibes Music, 19 Mayflower Street or by post. For postal orders please send a stamped self addressed envelope to Plymouth City Museum, Drake Circus, Plymouth PL4 8AJ, with a cheque made payable to 'Plymouth City Council'. Any unsold tickets will be available on the door.

Crossing the Tamar:
Tales of Mystery and Wisdom from Devon and Cornwall

Children’s Section, Waterstones, Drake Circus Shopping Mall
Saturday 26 January, 10am, 11am, 12 noon, 2pm, 3pm and 4pm

Join professional storyteller David Heathfield as the Museum launches its' National Storytelling Week events at Waterstones in the Drake Circus Shopping Mall.

Free, interactive storytelling sessions for anyone aged 4 and up will run throughout the day at the times listed above. Each session will last for 20 minutes and all children who attend will receive a free goody bag.

Giant Reminiscence Day

Plymouth Lower Guildhall, Royal Parade
Tuesday 29 January, 1.30pm to 3.30pm

A special story-based event for care and residential homes and sheltered housing units.

Come and join in the fun with an afternoon of musical entertainment and reminisce about the good old days with the Museum’s Community and Outreach Team.

Where Do You Live? Storytelling Session
