  • How taxonomy provides a picture of the Earth’s biodiversity
  • How to identify an organism using a 'key'

And much more!

So come along and join in! There will be plenty to see and do with competitions, prizes and quizzes!

Sessions for school groups will run from Tuesday to Friday - please contact Clare Buckland on 01752 633265 for further information or to book a session. The session on Saturday will be open to all.

Sainsbury’s Sport’s Relief Mile

Plymouth Hoe
Sunday 16 March 2008

The Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile is back in Plymouth for 2008 and you can now register to take place.

Sport Relief 2008 is all about challenging yourself, friends and colleagues to do something sporty and raise cash. The ultimate challenge for the public is doing the Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile, where hundreds of thousands of people across the UK will take to the streets and go the distance for Sport Relief.

The 2008 Mile will take place on Sunday 16 March and Plymouth Milers will be limbering up and raising cash on the Hoe. You can choose to do one; three, or six miles, meaning people of all ages and ability can join in, have fun and help change lives for the better.

The Plymouth event will feature four 'waves' of runners during the course of the afternoon and the city is one of the six to be featured for live coverage by BBC TV.

Comic Relief spends the money raised to help vulnerable people living incredibly tough lives both at home in the UK and in the world’s poorest countries.
