We are committed to seeking your views on how we can improve our services.

We conduct a wide range of consultation using a variety of methods - full reports are available on these pages.

How we develop and achieve effective consultation is outlined in Plymouth City Council’s Consultation and Participation Framework. (see documents table below)

In November 2002 we established Plymouth Points of View, a panel of around 1,600 randomly selected residents, representative of the population of Plymouth.  

The residents' panel completes three or four surveys a year on various aspects of Council services and takes part in other forms of consultation such as focus groups and meetings.  

We welcome your views and if there are any issues you feel strongly about your local councillor will be pleased to hear from you.
