Social care and health
We aim to improve the health, social well-being and safety of people in the city.
In order to deliver the best possible services, our social care services are split into two areas. These reflect the different types of people that we help within Plymouth.
They are:
Children's social care - This service is aimed at children, young people and families in the community who may need support from us. These pages also provide information about how you can help local children and families through fostering or adoption.
Adult social care - This service is aimed at adults and older people in the community who may need support from us.
These pages aim to tell you about the different services available to the wide range of people in Plymouth as well as how to access them.
