Support for people with physical and sensory disabilities
If you have a physical disability, sensory impairment or long-term illness, Plymouth City Council’s adult social care service and other organisations can provide assessments, advice and a range of services to support you to lead a life, which is full and as independent as possible. We can also provide advice and help for those who care for someone with a physical and sensory disability.
Plymouth City Council’s adult social care services are available both to people with physical or sensory disabilities and to their carers. Some services are provided directly by adult social care services; others are supported financially by Plymouth City Council but provided by external organisations on our behalf.
