Getting it right campaign
'Getting it right' is a campaign to make healthcare better for people with a learning disability. Some people with a learning disability do not get treated properly by health services. You should always get good healthcare from services like your doctor or local hospital, this is why Mencap is running the campaign.

Staying up Late
This is a new campaign that all the groups decided to get involved in. Many people are not given the option of choosing when they go out and return home as this decision is made by when their support worker's shift ends!
Each speaking up group has said they will register online with Mencap.
If you would like to register your support, use this link to the Mencap Stay Up Late Campaign website.

We publish a newsletter every four months. This tells you what is happening for people with learning disabilities in Plymouth. There are lots of free copies at drop-in centres and other places. -
