Consultation
-

What is consultation?
Consultation means getting your views and ideas heard. Becoming involved in making decisions about the services you receive can help provide better services for people with learning disabilities.
-

How do we consult with people?
We hold conferences and group meetings, or talk to people in a one-to-one interview. We use a questionnaire or form to record what people say.
-

We record all the views and ideas from service users and share the information with managers of services.
It is important to listen to people who use services.
-

Would you like to be involved in consultation and changing services?
We want more service users to become involved in consultation, and speak up about the services they receive.
-

If you would like to know more about consulting with people who have a learning disability, work that we have completed or have any questions about consultation.
You can use this email address consultation2@plymouth.gov.uk or you can telephone the Consultation Officer on 01752 664128.
