    Work Choice - What is Work Choice?

    Work Choice can give you support to get a job and keep it, if you are disabled and have had problems finding work. Work Choice can also help to support you in a job.

    You can join Work Choice at the Jobcentre Plus. You need to telephone the job centre and ask to speak to the Disability Employment Adviser.

    Access to Work is help you can get to do your job from the government.

    You can get this help from the government if you are disabled or need support with your health condition.

    Transforming life for the learning disabled

    Project | SEARCH, is a pioneering programme that supports adults with learning disabilities in getting paid employment.

    The programme is run by City College Plymouth, Plymouth Hospitals NHS and Pluss.

    Trainees work alongside hospital staff, learning how to do clerical work, reception work, street cleaning, mail delivery, being a porter and even checking medical equipment.
