Matching you to a child
When your social worker has found a child or children who may be suited to you, they will give you as much information about them as possible. This includes information about their background, character, education, health and interests, and you may be shown photos or videos. You will attend a 'placement planning meeting' to learn more and can also meet the child's social worker, who knows them very well and will be able to answer your questions.
"Meeting her was wonderful. We felt it worked because so much thought and time was put into matching her with us. It was all carefully worked out."
