Family with a disabled child by the pond

Real children waiting for forever families

The following are some of the children currently waiting in Plymouth for a forever family. To protect their identities, their names have been changed. However, these are the stories of real children who crave a loving upbringing from someone like you.

We are desperate to find adoptive homes for these children. We strongly urge you to read their descriptions carefully and consider whether you might have space in your life for them. Thank you.

Fabian (age seven)
Fabian is a bright and likeable white British boy who is doing well in all areas of his life. He has a sensitive, loving and affectionate character.

Fabian has lived with his foster carers since he came into care a year ago and is waiting to move to a permanent adoptive family. He is a pleasure to care for and his foster carer describes him as "a wonderful young man".

Joshua (age one)
Joshua is a relaxed and contented white British baby. He is thriving in the care of his foster carers, who he has lived with all his life, and is developing into a bubbly little character. Joshua has been diagnosed with Down's Syndrome and needs to be adopted by a family that will help him reach his full potential in life.

Peter (age nine)
Peter is an active white British boy. He is well mannered and full of curiosity. Peter really wants to be adopted and has asked for a new family.

Drew (age one)
Drew is a one year old white British baby who is blossoming into a delightful little girl who is full of smiles and laughter. Sadly, Drew was born prematurely and her development is very delayed. She needs to be adopted by a family who can accept the uncertainty around her future and give her the time and support she needs.

Sally (age seven)
Sally is a bright and lively white British girl with a sensitive and loving nature.

Jean and Lucy (age two and eight)
Jean and Lucy are happy and healthy white British sisters. They are waiting to move to an adoptive family where they can grow up together.
