Children's Action Support Team (CAST)
CAST is a dedicated team which can provide support to families in the community by working with young people aged between 8 and 16 who live with their families and 16 and 18 year olds who are not receiving a service from the Care Leavers Team.
The practical support the CAST team can offer includes:
- working with children expelled from school
- addressing bullying issues
- working with young people to address anti-social behaviour
- helping young people to access services
- undertaking health promotion work.
To receive support from the CAST team a Social Worker will need to assess your needs then make a recommendation that you should receive a service. Please contact the Advice and Assessment Service to find out more.
