All staff briefing sessions January 2010
The Assistant Director for Children's Social Care and other members of the Departmental Management Team presented six 'All Staff' briefings in January 2010, on the direction of travel for Services for Children and Young People.
These short sessions provided a vital chance for frontline, support staff and managers to hear more about the substantial progress that has been made across the city, including our preparation for Ofsted inspection.
The briefings were essential for staff in Children's Social Care and were open to everyone in other areas of Services for Children and Young People. They looked at what has been achieved over the past year, what we need to strive for in the future and, of course, how to prepare for the upcoming Ofsted inspection.
