Directory of Services 4 Schools

April 2012 to March 2013

The Directory is a reference source of core and traded services for headteachers and governing bodies of both maintained schools and academies. It provides an outline of the services that Plymouth City Council and other providers offer to support leadership, management and raising attainment in schools.

We hope that the service options available will generally meet your needs. However, if you would like the service provider to consider a variation or addition to the option, you should contact the Service Manager with your requirements who will negotiate a more bespoke option if available.

Each school and academy has been sent a 'Charges' booklet outlining the actual or indicative prices for all subscription and pay-as-you-use services, and indicating whether the charges relate to maintained schools and/or academies. The Charges booklet is set up in the same order as the directory for ease of use and to help headteachers and governing bodies make informed assessments of the cost of each service.

An interactive 'Notification of Intention to Purchase Services' form indicating the prices for services paid for by subscription will be emailed to schools in January 2012. Should costs change, schools will be notified by the start of the summer terms 2012, when all the Notification forms have been received and the information collated.
