Anti-bullying

Everyone has the right to learn and work in an environment free from harassment or discrimination and where they feel safe.

Bullying and bullying behaviours are mentioned as one of the more contributing factors in cases of non or diminished attendance at school and the work place. The stresses placed on the targets of bullying and bullying behaviour have far reaching effects on their emotional health and well being, educational successes and subsequent life chances.

These documents hope to act as a starting point for colleagues to be able to address those issues and hope to make links across a more joined up picture as to the responsibilities of all services proactively dealing with the effects of bullying and bullying behaviours.
