Internet favourites

If you have created favourites within Internet Explorer on your machine they do not transfer to your new machine.

Before the move

• Right click on the start button and choose explore
• Find the documents and settings folder on the C: drive
• Locate and expand the folder with your userid (this should be the username you log into the machine with)
• Expand the application data folder
• Select and copy the favourites folder
• Paste into your F: drive folder

After the move

• Right click on the start button and choose explore
• Locate your saved favourites folder on the F: drive
• Copy this folder
• Find the documents and settings folder on the C: drive
• Locate and expand the folder with your userid
• Expand the application data folder
• Paste your copy of the favourites folder – you may be asked if you want to replace the existing folder, say yes
