Scheme1

Feasibility study into road widening and the provision of a bus lane on Alma Road just before Pennycomequick roundabout.

• The feasibility study has now been completed and the findings will be considered during the developing and future schemes of work.

Scheme 2

Installation of variable message signs to inform motorists about traffic conditions on the corridor. These signs will be used to monitor traffic conditions and ultimately inform the public and businesses about real time traffic conditions.

• The signs have been installed and our now in use.

Consultation and public engagement

• Those whose properties were directly affected by the scheme were sent a letter advising them of the works.
