Local Transport Plan 2006 to 2011
Early last year, in preparation for the development of the Second Local Transport Plan we carried out an extensive consultation programme to establish the desires of stakeholders and the public, to find out what they considered to be most important and the aspirations for the transport network over the next 5 years.
Building on the achievements of the first Local Transport Plan (2001 to 2006) the Provisional Second Local Transport Plan for Plymouth was published in July 2005. This concentrated on establishing the transport strategy for Plymouth together with appropriate performance indicators and targets. The Provisional Local Transport Plan is still available on our website for comparison purposes.
After further consultation and review, the final version has refined the transport strategy and includes a prioritised programme of actions to be delivered over the next five years. The final Local Transport Plan 2 (2006 to 2011) can be accessed through the pdf attachments that are below the supporting documents links.
The plan draws from a number of evolving supporting documents which will be periodically reviewed and updated.
