Strategic Environmental Assessment
Plymouth City Council carried out a Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) of the Provisional Local Transport Plan for 2006-2011. The result was the 'Plymouth Local Transport Plan 2006-2011: Strategic Environmental Assessment Environmental Report'.
The SEA Environmental Report has been divided into six separate documents - the Environmental Report, Tables from the Environmental Report, Non-Technical Summary and Appendices A, B and C.
The final document of the SEA process, 'The Strategic Environmental Assessment Statement', was produced following consultation with the public and the four statutory consultees; the Environment Agency, English Nature, English Heritage and the Countryside Agency. It shows how the Environmental Report and consultation responses have been incorporated into the Final Local Transport Plan for 2006 to 2011.
