Transport in Plymouth: Facts and Figures
This document supports the Local Transport Plan and provides a picture of the transport network in Plymouth, its use and potential issues for the future.
This report collates data and information about the City and its transport network. After information about the City and its population, there is discussion of the highway network, its assets and components, and the patterns of movement around the City. Other transport modes are considered including walking, cycling, rail, sea and air.
Following this there is a summary of data about the impacts of transport, covering specifically road safety, air quality, noise and impacts on health. The final section looks forward to the challenges and potential development of the transport network in the future.
