The Interim Air Quality Action Plan

This document considers the local air quality problems that have been reported through the Local Air Quality Monitoring and Assessment processes, and which have resulted in the declaration of three specific Air Quality Management Areas (AQMAs) in Plymouth. Two are related to transport and will be examined in detail here.

The Air Quality Action Plan should be considered alongside Chapter 9 Better Air Quality of the Local Transport Plan 2006 to 2011.

The document currently only has interim status, with further work being undertaken to inform a final Air Quality Action Plan that will be produced 2006 to 2007.
