Personal searches of the local land charges register

Guidelines and information

Plymouth City Council operates an appointment system to make a personal search of the local land charges register. To book an appointment (by email and submit a plan) requires at least 24 hours notice, but due to a large number of appointments being booked in advance, it may result in the appointment date being a number of days ahead.

A personal search is simply an inspection of the local land charges register, from which notes can be made.
