Plymouth Life Centre

Due to open in March 2012, the Plymouth Life Centre will be one of the country's leading centres of sporting excellence.

The £46.5 million project sees Plymouth's biggest ever investment in leisure facilities and underlines the City Council's commitment to getting more people into sport and improving the overall health and fitness of local residents.

The centre will be managed by Everyone Active as part of a new 10-year contract and will offer a wide programme of affordable sessions for all ages and abilities.

It will also attract some of the region's top sportsmen and women, as well as a number of international Olympic teams preparing for London 2012.
