Local and naval studies

The local and naval studies library is used for many purposes, including looking into the history of Plymouth and its people, learning about the other nearly 50 Plymouths around the world, finding out about city business and consulting local planning documents. A huge range of material is available that will provide an answer to almost any enquiry.

Contained within the same room are collections dedicated both to local studies and to naval studies.

There are a number of publications and other items that can be purchased from the Local and Naval Studies Library and other libraries throughout the city.
