Tickets and booking

Unless stated all concerts begin at 1pm and the price includes a programme. There is a 50p concession on all standard concerts for members of the Friends of Plymouth City Museum and Art Gallery. Tickets can be bought in person from Plymouth City Museum and Art Gallery, Drake Circus or by post by sending a stamped addressed envelope (SAE) and cheque made payable to Plymouth City Council. Non-concessionary tickets can also be purchased online from the we got tickets website.

Enjoy the wonderfully intimate, dusky sound of the Galaezzi Ensemble, who perform on period instruments. Playing with a directness that is refreshing and elegant their composers will include Mozart, Haydn, Reis and Hyacinthe Jadin.

The Gilbert and Sullivan Story

Experience the story of Gilbert and Sullivan as seen through the eyes of George Grossmith, the actor who created the comic roles in the immortal Savoy Operas. Grossmith gives us an insight into WS Gilbert and Arthur Sullivan and enables us to meet the Sergeant of Police, Ko-Ko, The Lord Chancellor, Major-General Stanley et al – all of which adds up to an enjoyable, light-hearted mix of stories, songs, poems and music.
