World Cultures online

What is it?

At the museum we have a database that holds records of information for all our objects. The World Cultures online is a mini website that uses a small selection of the World Cultures database to create web pages. It provides collection history, visitor comments, teachers' notes and images of particular objects.

How to use it?

1. To open the World Cultures online please click on the link above or to the right of the page.
2. On the left hand side of the page, select a continent from the list to search those objects.
3. Then select which country you want to look at.
4. Select the object record that you want to look at.
5. All the information about your chosen object should now be to the right of the page. Click on the small image to reveal a larger version.

Once you have finished viewing the selected record, press the 'back' button to go back one step at a time or press the 'new search' button to start again with a new search.
