Hearty healthy lives at the library

Stoke residents can check out the health of their hearts at an event next Friday.

Hearty Lives will offer visitors to Stoke library the chance to have a heart check and get advice. The event will be held on Friday 22 February from 2pm to 4pm.

It’s one of a number of health related events being run by Plymouth City Council’s library service and partners to offer wider access to health information and advice. Hearty Lives is being run in collaboration with Plymouth Heartbeat and specialist health practitioners.

Libraries are being used as community hubs where people can find high quality health and social care information and support and as venues for health events.
