About Park Tennis

Park Tennis Plymouth is a network of high quality public courts for all of Plymouth to access and play tennis all year round. The courts are all owned and run by Plymouth City Council who work in partnership with the Lawn Tennis Association and various community partners.

There are refurbished courts within Central Park, West Hoe at Radford Park, Devonport Park, Tothill Park and Hartley Park as part of a city-wide strategy for increased tennis participation. It is vital that the courts remain financially viable so we can continually reinvest in the facilities and maintain their high standard so there is a small charge to play.

There are two ways to access the courts:

Annual tennis pass

Each household can access 13 courts (4 at Central Park and 4  at West Hoe, 3 at Devonport Park and 1 at both Tothill and Hartley Parks) all year round for a one off charge of £40 (concessions £30). Once you have your membership you can book and play anytime, all year round.

Find out more information about an annual tennis pass.

Pay and play

Book a court, pay and then go and play. Simple and a great way to try tennis with your friends, family and colleagues.

Each booking costs £6 for one hour.

Central Park has floodlights for play during darker days, there is a small charge for these each time you book.

If this is the first time you have used our courts you need to register.
