Resident parking permit renewal

You can renew your permit 30 days before your permit expiry date - just complete and return the application form below. We do not send a postal 'reminder notice' when a permit is due to expire.

It is the permit holder’s responsibility to ensure the permit is renewed before the expiry date therefore please allow a minimum of 10 working days between submitting your renewal application and receiving your new permit.

If you would like us to send you an email reminder please provide us with an email address on your application.

If you display an out of date permit you may receive a parking ticket which will have no grounds for cancellation.

Permits are not issued at the point of application but sent out in the post – we do not issue temporary permits for late renewal applications. There is a £30 administration fee for each permit, which is non-refundable.

By email

Email a completed application form and the required documents to permitenquiries@plymouth.gov.uk. The subject of the email should be vehicle registration/applicant surname (AA99 AAA/Smith).
