Chatterbox

Chaddlewood Farm Community Centre

Mondays 1.30 - 3.00 This group does not run on bank holidays.

Baby weigh - in clinic and play opportunities to help your child become a chatterbox. Guests also come along to provide advice and support. £1.50 donation if you want to stay and play. This group does run in the School Holidays however it is not suitable for children over the age of 5. On Monday 10th October the family information service will be visiting the group. They will be able to provide you with advice and information on benefits and childcare.

Stay and Play

Tuesday afternoons, 1.00 - 2.30, Plum Tree Woodford

A drop - in group for children under five and their parents/carers. Activities include creative activities, book area, baby area, role play, snack time and rhyme time.

£1.50 voluntary contribution.

Step by Step

Tuesdays 1.30 - 2.45 In the Children’s Centre at Yealmpstone Farm Primary

A Group for families with children with additional needs. Parents \ Carers who are worried about their child’s development can also come. Engage in play activities with your child which will support their development. Specialists occasionally visit who you can talk to about your child.

Twins, Triplets and more

2nd Tuesday of every month, in the Children’s Centre at Chaddlewood.

Groups starts on Tuesday 13th September. This group is run by a parent with twins and provides a chance to speak to other parents with twins and play together.

Baby Clinic

Every Wednesday Morning 10.00 - 12.00 Plympton Clinic

This clinic is run by health professionals, who are able to provide you with information and advice on a range of different health matters. Baby weighing is also available.

Buggy walking

Thursday 11.30 - 12.30 - Saltram

Meet by the Duck Pond, whatever the weather. Take a fast walk around Saltram with regular stops for more energetic exercising. Enjoy exercise to get back in shape while you socialise. Children stay in their buggies. Just £1.50 on the day. This group runs all year round except when the tutor is on holiday.

Stay and Play

For parents and children from birth to 5 years. A chance for you and your child to play together and for you to meet other parents. Activities include creative activities, book area, baby area, role play, snack time and rhyme time. Just £1.50 donation.

Young Parents

Every Friday 2.00 - 4.00 - at the Rees Centre

A youth group for parents and parents to be aged 13 - 21. Come along with your children. Different topics each week. Ask the children’s centre or a youth worker for a programme of what’s happening when.

Lone Parents Group

This group was stopped in the summer due to low numbers. If you are interested in being involved in the lone parents group please call us on 283826 and we will look at whether we can re - launch it.
