Plymouth 2020 - Local Strategic Partnership (LSP)
Plymouth has a Local Strategic Partnership which is branded as Plymouth 2020. This is because we have a vision we are aiming to achieve by the year 2020, which is to be recognised as 'one of Europe's finest, most vibrant waterfront cities, where an outstanding quality of life is enjoyed by everyone'.
Based firmly on the principle that many issues facing the city and its community today can only be tackled and resolved if all parts of the community work together, Plymouth 2020 Partnership is an important and effective way to enable this.
The Partnership brings together many organisations and groups that are involved in making decisions that affect the future well-being of the people of Plymouth. The voluntary, community, business and public sectors are all represented within Plymouth 2020 Partnership.

| Locality working - Customers have told us that they want services that are easy to access and respond to their needs. To help deliver better services in this way, Plymouth has been divided into six areas called 'Localities', each containing a number of our existing 43 Neighbourhoods. |
| Third Sector Strategy - Plymouth Third Sector Consortium and Plymouth 2020 have worked in partnership to produce a Third Sector Strategy for Plymouth which sets out how we will work together to create an environment for a thriving third sector (the voluntary and community sector). |
