Parent's Guide to secondary school admissions 2012
The Parent's Guide sets out information about secondary education in the area that every Local Authority is required by law to publish. It includes a list of maintained secondary schools in Plymouth and the maximum number of children that each one has the capacity to admit in September 2012. It also contains information about Academy, Foundation, Trust and Voluntary Aided schools in the area, published on behalf of their governors.
The information contained in these Parent's Guide pages was correct at the time it was printed in August 2011 but readers should note that:
- there may be changes to the published information that take effect during or after the 2011 to 2012 school year;
- the policies quoted are the determined admission arrangements and were open for comment to the Office of the Schools Adjudicator. Subject to comment, policies may be changed by that office.
The information contained on the Parent's Guide pages cannot therefore form the basis of a contract with parents.
