Our plans for the future

Adult social care services are vital to many people across Plymouth. We are currently working towards implementing 'Putting People First', the Government’s vision for the future direction of adult social care.

The White Paper 'Our, Health, Our Care, Our Say: A New Direction for Community Service' sets the context for us to deliver better outcomes for the well-being of all Plymouth citizens and the communities they live in.

We understand the importance on focusing on whole communities and not, as in the past, on smaller numbers of people with more acute needs.
