Plymouth baptism, marriage, burial and family history indexes

In partnership with the Devon Family History Society, we are indexing registers that contain information useful to family and local historians. The indexes can be viewed using our 'All Search' computer programme on our public computers in the Search Room. A number of the indexes are also available for sale on CD or as printouts.

Indexes available on the 'All Search' public computers

The following indexes can be viewed in the public search room of the Record Office using our All Search computer programme. The indexes are listed alphabetically by surname and first names and also show the date of event, church or location, page or entry number and notes. The programme is updated regularly and currently contains:

None of the CDs cover events that took place in Catholic churches, Register Offices, Saint James the Less parish church (except 1941) or Saint George, East Stonehouse parish church between 1837 and 1852 for marriages and November 1887 to May 1941 for baptisms.
