Car park season tickets

Season tickets offer a discount compared to the standard daily rate for the designated car park. As the car parks operate on a first come first served basis we are unable to allocate a space for an individual season ticket user. However, for regular car park users season tickets can not only save you money but also save you time at payment machines and mean you don't have to worry about having the right change or your credit card with you when you park.

How much do season tickets cost?

Car park season tickets vary in price and can be purchased:

A season ticket is valid every day, including weekends and bank holidays, up to and including it's expiry date.

Season tickets are available for the following car parks:

Car park Cost per month
Theatre Royal £150
Regent Street £150
Derry's Cross £110
Western Approach £95
Elphinstone £80


Season tickets are also available for Mutley Plain car park at cost of £72 per month, £190 per a quarter or £650 for a year. For further details please contact CP Plus on 0207 431 4001.

Season ticket holders are required to comply with all the terms and conditions in the Council’s current off-street parking places order.

I've changed my vehicle, what do I do?

You must return the old season ticket to us so that we can provide you with an updated season ticket for your new vehicle. If you park in a car park with an out-of-date or incorrect season ticket you could be issued with a penalty charge notice

How do I apply?

Permits are not issued at the point of application but sent out in the post. Please allow a minimum of 10 working days between submitting your application and receiving your permit.

Theatre Royal, Regent Street and Western Approach car parks

Customers can apply for a season ticket in the following ways:

At a pay on foot machine

Make your payment at the payment machine and take your receipt to the office on the entrance level of the Theatre Royal car park where staff will issue an access card.

By post

Send a completed application form to Parking Services, Plymouth City Council, Ground Floor, Civic Centre, Plymouth PL1 2AA. Payment must be made by cheque and made payable to Plymouth City Council. You will be notified when your access card is ready for collection from the office on the entrance level of the Theatre Royal car park.

By email

Email a completed application form to permitenquiries@plymouth.gov.uk. Put your registration and applicant surname (AA99 AAA/Smith) in the subject line of the email. You will be contacted by telephone or email with information about making payment for the permit. You will be notified when your access card is ready for collection from the office on the entrance level of the Theatre Royal car park.


Derry’s Cross and Elphinstone car parks

Customers can apply for a season ticket in the following ways:

RingGo

This is a mobile phone payment facility. Customers can buy a season ticket in these car parks by phone, using the Ringo system. Guidance for setting up a RingGo account and purchasing a season ticket is available on the car park pay and display machines.
