Consultation Events
Our Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) sets out our commitment to involving people in our work.
We held consultation events for
- the Central Park Masterplan (October 2010).
- the pre-submission stage of the Derriford and Seaton Area Action Plan (February/March 2011).
- the Sustainable Neighbourhoods Development Plan Document (February/March 2011).
- the Shopping Centres Supplementary Planning Document (February/March 2011).
- the Urban Fringe Development Plan Document in conjunction with South Hams District Council (February/April 2011).
This is the number of events that were held for each consultation and the number of people who attended.

There were also permanent displays at the following venues:
- Windsor House Reception, Civic Centre First Stop Reception, and George park and ride - for Derriford and Seaton AAP and Shopping Centre’s SPD
- Mayflower Sports Centre - for Central Park Masterplan
People were also able to make representations online.
