Before you enter into a civil Partnership, you must first give notice of you intention to form a civil partnership to the Superintendent Registrar in the district where you live (see fees page for most up to date cost).
You will also need to decide upon the type of ceremony you would like and where you would like to hold your ceremony. There are a number of different options for you to choose from. The Superintendent Registrar will go through these choices with you when you make an appointment and when you give your notice.

An appointment system operates for Birth and Death Registrations, Giving Notice, Marriage Ceremonies and Civil Partnership Registrations. Please call 01752 268331 to make an appointment.
