It is expected that the demand for cycling will grow as new networks of cycle routes develop throughout the country. Therefore by changing the way we travel by increasing the amount of people walking and cycling, will improve our lives in the future.
National Standard cycle training is now available for all Plymouth residents.
Cycle training is now available for most year six students through their schools, supported by funding that Plymouth City Council has secured from the Department for Transport. Please contact your child's school in the first instance if your child is a year six pupil. If your child is older, then please contact bikelinks@plymouth.gov.uk or telephone 01752 550729 to arrange free training.
Free training is also offered for all Plymouth residents and can also be organised for employers' staff and clients of other agencies – please contact bikelinks@plymouth.gov.uk or telephone 01752 550729 to arrange this.
All of our coaches are qualified to the National Standard and registered with Bikeability and have been CRB checked.
