Eastern Corridor Major Scheme
The City of Plymouth (A3790 Embankment Lane Link Road) Compulsory Purchase Order 2009
Plymouth City Council, with a view to progressing the East End Transport Scheme and more specifically the construction of a new link road connecting Embankment Road and Laira Bridge Road ('the Scheme'), made a compulsory purchase order ('the Order') on 23 December 2009.
The Order was confirmed by the Secretary of State for Transport on 24 November 2010 following the holding of a Public Inquiry in June 2010. You can download a copy of the Decision Letter and the Inspectors Report from the documents table below.

In conjunction with the Order the Council made a Side Roads Order on 22 December 2009.
The Side Roads Order was confirmed by the Secretary of State for Transport on 24 November 2010 following the holding of a Public Inquiry in June 2010.
