Plymouth City Council do not currently operate an out of hours service. In the event of an emergency, please contact the relevant emergency service.

Southwest Water

• For a water leak or burst pipe in the road, on a pavement or any other place, call free of charge (24 hours) 0800 169 1144
• For pollution: to report bursts or leaks from any of Southwest Waters sewage works, pumping stations or pipes (24 hours) 0800 146 084

Gas

• To report a gas escape or a gas safety issue ring the National Gas Service Emergency Line (24 hours) 0800 111999

Electrical

• If the power fails call the emergency number (24 hours) 0800 365 900

Plymouth Police

• Police emergency dial 999, if life is threatened, people are injured, offenders are nearby, immediate action is required.
