There was a fall in employment land developed in 2009 to 2010. In 2010 to 2011 there was a rise in completed sites to 4.20 hectares. This takes the average annual amount to 5.16 hectares which is well above the target of four hectares per year.

The developments completed this year have mainly been mixed B uses which include office, research, industry and warehousing, although some of these developments are limited to B1 which are offices, research and light industry only.
