Are you thinking of putting on an outdoor event? Not sure what to do or where to go next? Then the Events Safety Group may be able to help you.
The Events Safety Group deal with safety at public events and should not be confused with the Safety Advisory Group (SAG) which is a statutory body dealing with safety at sports grounds.
The core members of the Events Safety Group comprise senior officers from the Council and all the emergency services working in the city.
ESG’s main objectives are:
Its purpose is to meet regularly to consider forthcoming events and to give advice to organisers.
