The Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) was formally adopted on 24 July 2006 by Full Council, following its submission to the Secretary of State on 28 February 2006.
Please note: There is a newer version of the adopted SCI which was adopted by Full Council in April 2009.
An independent Inspector was appointed by the Secretary of State to examine the 'Soundness' of the Submitted SCI. The Inspector reported back to the Council on 5 July 2006 setting out binding changes to be made to the submitted SCI.
Any person aggrieved by the SCI may apply to the High Court for a judicial review of the decision to adopt the SCI. You must make the application promptly and not later than Tuesday 3 October 2006 at 5pm.
