Keeping safe booklets

The Safeguarding Adults Team and Plymouth Learning Disability Partnership have purchased 100 copies of the 'Keeping Safe Booklets'. The booklets will be given to vulnerable people with a learning disability and community provider organisations.

Pluss, with the help of people with learning disabilities and the original People in Partnership Pack have developed 10 booklets to help people with learning disabilities understand more about keeping safe. These booklets are easy to read and include colour pictures, symbols and large fonts.

The 10 booklets are called:

• Keeping safe online
• Keeping yourself safe
• Support services
• Fire and Rescue
• The Ambulance service
• Talking to the Police
• The Law
• The Coastguard
• Making a complaint
• Your rights
