A public consultation took place on the draft Local Transport Plan and Implementation plan between Monday 25 October 2010 and Friday 14 January 2011. Comments were received from a wide range of stakeholders and individuals and in a variety of formats, in writing, by email and online through Plymouth City Council’s Consultation Portal. You can view the current consultations on the Council's consultation portal.
The comments received have been valuable in shaping the final document. All responses were considered and the results of the short online questionnaire helped us to gauge levels of support for various proposals set out in the draft document.
All the key issues were identified and summarised in a separate document for consideration. The issues log and decision matrix considered both the written and online comments that were received and provides discussion points and details about how the comments have been used.
A full Consultation Report is available below.
A public consultation was also carried out on the Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) Environmental Report. The report identified potential significant environmental effects from implementing the draft LTP and that should be addressed in the final LTP. The consultation responses received about the SEA Environmental Report were crucial in contributing towards the production of the final LTP, a revised SEA Environmental Report and the SEA Statement which details where changes to the Environmental Report and the LTP have been made through this process. You can view the SEA Environmental Report and SEA Statement on the strategic environmental assessment page.
