Professional Practice sub group

Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children requires effective coordination in every local area.

For this reason the Children's Act 2004 requires each local authority to establish a Local Safeguarding Children Board. The Plymouth Safeguarding Children Board (PSCB) has agreed to set up a Professional Practice Group to contribute to the safeguarding of children and young people in Plymouth.
