Safer employment group

The Plymouth Safeguarding Children Board (PSCB) has agreed to set up a Safer Employment Group, to contribute to the safeguarding of children and young people in Plymouth, by promoting clear, comprehensive and sustainable safe employment practices, across all partner agencies.

The Safer Employment Group will take into account the statutory guidance on making arrangements to safeguard and promote the welfare of children, the recommendation of the Bichard Inquiry and any other guidance that has been or will be issued in the future.

The documents below introduce the work of the Safer Employment Sub Group and provide agencies and organisations with the tools to more effectively manage the recruitment, selection and employment of their workforce.
