Public conveniences in Plymouth

All Council maintained public conveniences are checked, cleaned and restocked twice daily.

Toilets are opened at approximatly 6am each morning with all toilets opened by 8.30am.

There is no charge for using any public convenience maintained by Plymouth City Council.

The following is a list of all Council maintained public conveniences, their opening times and the facilities available.

Summer runs from 1 May to 30 September and winter from 1 October to 31 April. Please note that the opening and closing times are approximate and may vary.

RADAR Key Scheme

The Royal Association for Disability and Rehabilitation (RADAR) is a national organisation for disabled people. The National Key Scheme offers independent access to disabled people to around 4,000 locked public toilets around the country. It ensures that people who need them can always find a suitable and accessible toilet in a good clean condition.

RADAR keys can be purchased at a cost of £4 from the cash hall in the Civic Centre and at the Tourist Information Centre, Plymouth Mayflower, 3 to 5 The Barbican, Plymouth PL1 2LR. Telephone 01752 606331. In order to obtain a key you must provide relevant documentation.
